Objectives of Rythu Bima Scheme:
- To provide security and financial aid to the members/dependents of the deceased Pattadar (farmer) family.
- In Telangana State, most of the farmers are marginal and small and the main source of their livelihood is farming. This scheme provides them some relief to run their livelihood smoothly.
- If the farmer/bread earner dies, their family members have to face financial problems to fulfill their day-to-day needs. So by claiming the benefits of this scheme they get the financial help to survive.
- Therefore it is beneficial to implement Farmers Group Life Insurance Scheme, to provide financial security and care to grieving family members.

Rythu Bheema Claim Application Form PDF
In order to make sure that farmers do not get into a debt trap, Rythu Bima Scheme was launched by the Chief Minister of Telangana K. Chandrashekar Rao under Agriculture Investment Support Scheme. This scheme provides investment support to farmers by granting them aid of Rs.4000/- per acre per farmer each season to buy seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, etc, and other investments in the field operations of farmers choice for crop season.
