Home Town Leave Travel Concession:
LTC Home Town which can be taken to travel the distance between Headquarters and their home city can be done once in a block for two calendar years. E.g. 1986-87, 1988-89.
Any Place in India Leave Travel Concession
LTC at any place in India shall be admissible in blocks of four calendar years viz. 1986- 89, 1990-93, and so on, irrespective of the distance of the place of travel from the Headquarters of Government of India.
Any place in India Declaration of a place of travel under LTC
- Any place in India Leave Travel Concession is required to move from the declared Home Town to the declared place, without which the LTC claim will not be entertained.
- When the concession to travel to any place in India is proposed to be taken by a Government servant or any member of the family of such Government servant, the place of travel shall be declared in advance by the Government to the controlling officer thereof.
- If such change is not intimated at the declared place of the journey before the commencement of the journey, approval will be required from the Head of the Department.
