Kerala Farmers Pension Scheme Form PDF Download – Govt. of Kerala has set up Farmers Welfare Board with the aim to provide attractive financial benefits and monthly pension to farmers. Every farmer in the state who owns a maximum of 15 acres of land, or is cultivating 15 acres of leased land, is entitled to the benefit of the Farmers Pension Scheme. Every farmer above the age of 18 years in the state can apply for this scheme.
Under this scheme, the farmer will have to contribute Rs 100 per month and government will contribute same amount or max. of 250 rupees for every farmer. If the farmer, for five consecutive years, contributes under this scheme ,then farmer will be entitled for a lifetime pension after the age of 60 years.
In this scheme, the pension amount fixed will be based on the amount contributed by the farmer and the number of years. Through this scheme, financial assistance is also provided by the government for the marriage and education and motherhood of daughters of registered farmers.
