Andhra Pradesh- AP Ration Card Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for ration card in the state, applicant must fulfill given below criteria:-
- Applicant & his/her family members must be India citizens and resident of the state.
- They should be living and cooking separately.
- Applicant & any of the family member should not possess any family / ration card in any other state as well as in the same state.

Each ration card has a different purpose, which allows users to get food items at subsidy prices or avail govt. scheme in the state. To get these benefit, one must possess ration card. And to apply for it, you have to submit the necessary documents along with application form to the concerned dept. or nearby ration shop in your area. After verification process by the authority, you will get the certificate within 15-30 days. Processing time can very depending on the circumstances. Once ration card is issued, it is valid for 5 years.
